Do Economic Determinants Affect the Size of Military Spending?

چکیده

The article aims to identify the dependence of military expenditures and selected economic determinants on example V4 countries in years 1999-2020. following are as determinants: size gross domestic product, rate inflation, debt deficit government sector unemployment. Correlation analysis proved expected relationship between product expenditure Hungary especially Poland. spending unemployment was confirmed for Poland, Slovakia, Czech Republic. linear regression model positive effect case increase due rising inflation negative increasing state indebtedness At same time, results did not confirm uniformity factors affecting analyzed countries.
